Seeking a bioinformatics Analyst with strong spatial transcriptomics, scRNA-seq and Visium HD expertise to analyze single-cell and spatial data, support lab training, and advance lung regeneration research.
At least 3 years of full-time experience required after degree.

Analyzes genomic data to identify and interpret genetic variations, providing insights into disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
  • Analyzes and interprets genomic data to identify potential disease-causing mutations or genetic variations.
  • Develops and implements bioinformatics pipelines and workflows for genomic data analysis.
  • Collaborates with research teams to design experiments, analyze data, and interpret and understand results.
  • Maintains and updates genomic databases and software tools.
  • Participates in requirement gathering. Communicates findings, results, and collaborative work to stakeholders and broader audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest developments in bioinformatics and genomics research.

Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular genetics, computer science, bioinformatics, or related field, required.
  • M.S degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, preferred.

Skills:
  • Superior attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
  • Experience in genomics and bioinformatics, and willingness to learn concepts and terminology as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.

Experience:
  • 3 years of experience practicing bioinformatics or computational biology in genomics or a related field, required.
  • Experience in a Linux/Unix environment and familiarity with scripting and process automation (Python/Perl, shell), required.
