Job description

Position Function:

Lead the administration, enhancement, and ongoing management of the Salesforce platform, with a primary focus on Financial Services Cloud (FSC), enterprise CRM capabilities, users adoption, and business value delivery. This is a working manager role responsible for leading Salesforce platform resources while actively supporting hands-on configuration, solution design, troubleshooting, reporting, release support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Salesforce solutions are stable, scalable, user-focused, and aligned with business objectives.

Performs all duties and interacts with internal and external customers in a manner that is expressly aligned with the Company's Core Values of approaching all actions with a “Voyaging Spirit” and being “Positively Ohana”. Exhibits core competencies that result in consistent delivery of positive Customer Interactions, Empowerment and Ownership and demonstrates key professional and performance skills such as Active Listening, effective Oral and Written Communication, Action and Solution Oriented and Thoroughness.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Platform Strategy, Delivery, and Business Partnership
    • Manage the Salesforce platform roadmap, enhancements, configuration, and ongoing optimization, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud (FSC), CRM capabilities, user experience, adoption, and business value.
    • Partner with business leaders, sales teams, operations, and support areas to understand business needs, identify pain points, and translate requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
    • Lead and actively participate in solution design, configuration, reporting, testing, release planning, and enhancement delivery.
    • Oversee platform architecture, data model, security, integrations, automation, and system enhancements to ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with best practices.
    • Support CRM adoption by helping stakeholders effectively use Salesforce for relationship management, referrals, opportunities, activities, customer insights, dashboards, and reporting.
    • Establish and maintain platform governance, including data quality, access controls, change management, compliance considerations, documentation, and system integrity.
    • Ensure Salesforce work efforts are prioritized, delivered timely, and aligned with business objectives, operational needs, customer experience, and enterprise technology standards.
  • Platform Operations
    • Oversee day-to-day Salesforce operations, including incident triage, user support, issue resolution, backlog management, production monitoring, and platform performance.
    • Actively support hands-on platform administration, configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, dashboard updates, data analysis, testing, and user support as needed.
    • Manage Salesforce releases, change control, testing coordination, deployment readiness, post-release validation, and communication of platform changes to impacted users and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain operational best practices, support procedures, documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles.
    • Monitor platform usage adoption, data quality, license utilization, system issues, and support trends to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Manage vendor relationships with Salesforce, implementation partners, and third-party service providers to ensure effective support, delivery, and issue resolution.
  • Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and develop Salesforce team.
    • Set team priorities, assign work, monitor progress, remove blockers, and ensure accountability for quality, timeliness, and customer service.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, ownership, documentation, and professional development.
    • Conduct performance reviews, establish goals, provide coaching and feedback, and support team member growth.
    • Ensure alignment with IT strategy, governance, security, and enterprise priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce platform management, solution architecture, and team leadership required.
  • 5+ years of experience with custom development using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components required.
  • 3+ years of experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs, middleware, or ETL tools required.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing Salesforce-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support required.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational initiatives required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
  • Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
  • Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
  • Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
