Facets Configuration Manager
Location: Remote

About the role
As a Facets Configuration Manager, you will make an impact by leading configuration delivery and implementation workstreams that support complex healthcare payer transformation and migration initiatives. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Delivery & Transformation team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, configuration teams, testing teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead end-to-end configuration workstreams across large-scale Facets implementation, migration, and transformation programs.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, release schedules, and delivery roadmaps to ensure successful program execution.
  • Coordinate activities across configuration, business analysis, testing, migration, and deployment teams.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation activities while driving timely resolution.
  • Partner with business, operations, technology, and client stakeholders to align project objectives and delivery outcomes.
  • Oversee release planning, implementation readiness, and production deployment activities.
  • Deliver executive-level status reporting, governance updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of project, program, or delivery management experience.
  • 5+ years leading large-scale implementation, migration, or transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams across business and technology organizations.
  • Strong experience with project planning, stakeholder management, governance, RAID management, and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex programs with multiple dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Experience managing offshore and onsite delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

These will help you stand out
  • Experience with Facets Configuration and healthcare payer platforms.
  • Knowledge of enrollment, benefits, provider configuration, and claims administration processes.
  • Experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial lines of business.
  • Experience leading healthcare platform migration or modernization programs.
  • PMP, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or related project management certifications.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and complex delivery ecosystems.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
