Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and strategic Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and execution of Artemis - our next-generation enterprise pricing platform. Artemis empowers our organization to deliver accurate, configurable pricing at scale, enabling customers to build complex product configurations directly through our ecommerce experience. As PM, you will be the connective tissue between business stakeholders, engineering, design, and QA, driving a world-class set of tools that transform how we quote, price, and deliver value to customers.
About Artemis
Artemis is a sophisticated enterprise pricing and configuration platform designed to support the full lifecycle of product quoting and order management. Its centerpiece is a comprehensive product configurator that dynamically generates product descriptions, bills of material (BOMs), and manufacturing routings based on customer-supplied attributes captured on our ecommerce website. Artemis serves internal pricing teams, sales professionals, and end customers (via MyAmcor.com) - making speed, accuracy, and usability paramount.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and maintain the Artemis product vision and multi-quarter roadmap in alignment with enterprise business objectives.
  • Translate complex pricing, configuration, and manufacturing logic into clear, prioritized product requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify gaps, opportunities, and high-impact capabilities across the platform.
  • Continuously validate assumptions through customer interviews, usage analytics, and stakeholder feedback.
Configurator & Core Tooling
  • Own the end-to-end product configurator experience - from attribute collection on the ecommerce site through automated BOM generation and manufacturing routing creation.
  • Define the rules engine, attribute taxonomy, and configuration logic that power accurate and scalable product builds.
  • Ensure the configurator handles edge cases, constraint validation, and complex interdependencies with precision.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to keep BOM and routing logic current and accurate.
  • Drive integrations between Artemis and adjacent systems (ERP systems, MyAmcor.com, etc.).
User Experience & Design
  • Champion intuitive, efficient UX for both internal power users and external customers navigating the ecommerce configurator.
  • Work closely with designers to produce wireframes, prototypes, and usability tests that inform high-quality UI decisions.
  • Establish and enforce UX standards across the Artemis platform for consistency and accessibility.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from pricing teams, salespeople, and customers to iterate on the user experience.
Delivery & Team Collaboration
  • Lead shaping sessions and maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog for a dedicated cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA engineers.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications that enable efficient, high-quality development.
  • Coordinate with QA to define testing strategies for complex configuration scenarios and ensure release readiness.
  • Track KPIs, OKRs, and product health metrics; report progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Required
  • Proven track record of shipping impactful products with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize ambiguous business requirements into actionable product specs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years on enterprise B2B platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with configurator, CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote), or complex product catalog systems.
  • Strong understanding of BOM structures, manufacturing routings, or supply chain/operations concepts.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and ecommerce platform integrations.
  • Background in pricing strategy, revenue management, or enterprise quoting workflows.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-to-order product environments.
What Success Looks Like
  • The Artemis configurator is adopted broadly by ecommerce customers, reducing quoting time and manual errors significantly.
  • BOMs and manufacturing routings generated by the platform are accurate, consistent, and trusted by operations teams.
  • The Artemis team operates with high velocity and morale, with clear priorities and minimal rework.
  • Stakeholders across sales, ops, and engineering view you as a trusted, strategic partner.
  • Artemis becomes the recognized backbone of our enterprise pricing capability. Product lines instantly recognize the value of having their pricing managed on, and served by, Artemis.
