Job description

PURVIS has an immediate opening for an Integration Specialist.  The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) professional with a strong background in enterprise PLM implementation, system integration, and Digital Engineering.   We are looking for a candidate that can independently lead complex PLM initiatives, integrate engineering and enterprise systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and work effectively across engineering, manufacturing, Configuration Management, IT, and other functional organizations. Candidates with experience with Windchill, Teamcenter, or ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE and supporting DoD engineering environments are highly desirable.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Leads the implementation, integration, configuration, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Develops and maintains integrations between PLM and CAD, ERP, MES, QMS, MBSE, simulation, and other engineering and business systems.
  • Establishes and maintains Digital Thread connections across engineering models, requirements, BOMs, CAD data, manufacturing information, configuration data, and other product information.
  • Develops PLM architecture, technical requirements, integration specifications, implementation roadmaps, test/UAT plans, and user documentation.
  • Supports Digital Engineering initiatives, including MBSE, digital design reviews, Digital Thread, and digital twin capabilities.
  • Leads major PLM upgrades, migrations, system integrations, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoots complex PLM and integration issues and develops appropriate technical solutions.
  • Coordinates PLM activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, configuration management, and IT organizations.
  • Serves as the senior technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PLM implementation, integration, and system development.
  • Provides technical guidance, training, and mentoring to PLM users and support personnel.
  • Performs assignments with a high degree of independence and provides technical leadership for complex projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and approximately five (5) to ten (10)+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Significant experience implementing, integrating, administering, or supporting enterprise PLM platforms such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systemes ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE, or comparable systems.
  • Experience integrating PLM with CAD and other enterprise engineering or manufacturing systems.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Thread, Digital Engineering, MBSE, BOM management, configuration management, and product data management concepts.
  • Experience developing technical requirements, system architecture, integration specifications, testing/UAT documentation, and implementation plans.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience leading technical projects and coordinating activities across multiple engineering and business functions.
  • DoD, Navy or defense industry experience is preferred.
Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
