Configuration Management Specialist II McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist who will support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport RI. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare. Duties: * Support the AN/BYG-1 Media Delivery Team in any tasks required including: * Prepare transmittal paperwork for shipments * Upload receipts and file electronically * Track deliveries to ensure shipments have/had been received * Review transmittals and shipments to ensure a quality product * Handling and storage of classified and unclassified material * BITs database tracking * Alfresco database (where documentation is found) * Follow up with Squadrons to confirm deliveries and notifications via phone calls/emails. * Work closely with Division Heads to ensure their availability for signature of approval for all deliveries * Work closely with Installation Team Leads to determine installation requirements * Other tasks as assigned associated with BYG-1 media shipment/movement * Media duplication efforts for support with fleet installation media Job Requirements * Effective communication, both verbal and written * Good organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work in a team environment * Strong time management skills * Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook * Current DoD SECRET Clearance * High School Diploma
