Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative SCCM OSD/Intune Engineer to join our Windows Endpoint Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level endpoint management solutions using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Operating System Deployment (OSD) and Microsoft Intune.
As the SCCM OSD/Intune Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable device management across 30,000 endpoints. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software deployment, patch management, compliance policies, and mobile device management, while driving automation and modern workplace initiatives.
This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments, have a passion for endpoint security and user experience, and are eager to leverage modern Microsoft technologies to optimize IT operations.
***This position requires 1 onsite day per week at our Emory Northlake Campus.***
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining enterprise endpoint management systems using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune across a large, distributed healthcare environment.
  • Ensure Windows endpoints are secure, stable, and highly available.
  • Highly proficient in OSD imaging, task sequence development, driver and firmware management, and co-management workflows.
  • Skilled in packaging and deploying applications, automating endpoint processes, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems at scale.
  • Participate in the planning, deployment, on-site testing, and ongoing support of enterprise endpoint lifecycle processes to ensure optimum performance and scalability for more than 30,000 endpoints.
  • Possess expert knowledge of Windows Autopatch, compliance policies, performance monitoring tools, and cloud-based management services.
  • This role requires a blend of technical skills, collaboration, and an understanding of both clinical and administrative systems.
  • Includes after-hours maintenance and participation in an on-call rotation to support critical tier 1 environments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams for capacity planning with a focus on long-term scalability and resource optimization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline and five years infrastructure server administration experience OR seven years of Infrastructure server engineering experience.
