About the Role

CIYIS is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support Digital Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, software lifecycle management, and enterprise modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience managing software, engineering, product, and system baselines while ensuring traceability, governance, compliance, and lifecycle integrity across complex environments.

This role combines configuration management, release management, governance, documentation control, lifecycle management, and quality assurance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Configuration Management (CM) plans and procedures.
  • Establish and manage software and engineering baselines.
  • Support release management and deployment activities.
  • Manage configuration records, version control, and documentation.
  • Support change control boards and governance processes.
  • Maintain lifecycle traceability across engineering and software environments.
  • Conduct configuration audits and compliance reviews.
  • Support roadmap execution and phased deployments.
  • Develop CM metrics and reporting capabilities.
  • Facilitate documentation and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Configuration Management experience.
  • Experience supporting software or engineering programs.
  • Experience with release management and change control processes.
  • Experience managing documentation and technical baselines.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
