The Configuration Management and Data Management (CMDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CMDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers.

The Sensors, Surveillance & Space Configuration Management department is looking for an individual to perform the role of a Principal Configuration Analyst - PCA Lead, located in Andover, MA.

What You Will Do

  • Hardware CM Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) Subject Matter Expert
  • Understand the PCA requirements/identify new hardware to product baseline
  • Determine make/buy status, pull all data from appropriate finance database
  • Ensure the proper quality notes are being flowed down on Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Prepare and deliver PCA Plan Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRL) consisting of all hardware to be audited and PCA plan
  • Aligning with Ops and Supply Chain on shipment dates
  • Retrieve and review artifacts such as First Article Inspections (FAIs), Certificate of Conformance (CoCs), Variances, NCs, work instructions, etc.
  • Manage PCA list and status progress
  • Prepare and deliver PCA Agenda CDRL consisting of all required attendees and roles, detailed schedule of in person PCA event and parts to be audited
  • Conduct on site Audit and incremental virtual audits until all hardware is approved
  • Close out action items using a specific form to capture and resolve actions
  • Get PCA certification signed from IPT Lead and CM Lead[MY1] [JG2] 
  • Prepare and deliver PCA Summary Report CDRL after PCA completion
  • Update PCA Plan Appendix to Reflect Final PCA Baseline
  • Process engineering action documents by way of Configuration Management (CM) reviews in Product Data Management (PDM) system

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree OR in absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in configuration management specific to running PCAs.
  • Experience with Windchill PDM or related tools

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience working in an Engineering team environment, interfacing with Hardware, Systems or Test Engineers
  • Understands principles, standards and processes, such as described in EIA-649,

  • Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
