Work Location: Maple Grove, MN
Work Schedule: 9/80
Shift Start Time: 7:30 AM
Education: Technical Associate Degree or 4 Years of Configuration Management Experience
Job Description:
  • Perform Hardware Configuration Management (CM) activities supporting the design, development, and production of complex defense systems.
  • Manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic, measurable Configuration Management process.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver Engineering Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
  • Apply Configuration Management processes in accordance with the Configuration Management Plan.
  • Support Configuration Management and Quality audits.
  • Develop solutions to moderately complex Configuration Management issues while following company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, customers, and suppliers to ensure configuration accuracy and compliance.
Must Haves:
  • Technical Associate Degree or 4 years of Configuration Management experience.
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Preferred:
  • Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
  • Experience with PTC Windchill.
  • Experience applying industry Configuration Management standards and government requirements.
  • Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, ASME Y14.24, and ASME Y14.100.
  • Formal Configuration Data Management (CDM) training.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas.
  • Experience managing Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
  • Familiarity with CMMI requirements.
  • STEM Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of Configuration Management experience.
Education/Experience:
Technical Associate Degree with 2+ years of related experience, or 4 years of Configuration Management experience. STEM Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of Configuration Management experience is preferred.
