Position Summary

The SAP EWM Consultant provides expertise in the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. This role analyzes business requirements, delivers high-quality functional designs, collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, and supports clients through testing, deployment, and ongoing operations. Consultants at this level work independently while also mentoring junior team members.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Gathers and analyzes warehouse management requirements and translates them into functional specifications.
  • Configures and customizes SAP EWM modules to meet client needs, ensuring alignment with business processes.
  • Performs functional testing, resolves defects, and validates end-to-end EWM functionality.
  • Develops user guides, configuration documentation, and training materials.
  • Delivers end-user and client training on SAP EWM processes and best practices.
  • Collaborates with project managers, architects, developers, and functional teams to ensure seamless integration with ECC, S/4HANA, and related modules.
  • Provides timely support for EWM issues related to configuration, data, and system behavior.
  • Partners with technical teams on system integration, data migration, and interface troubleshooting.
  • Stays current on SAP EWM enhancements, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and optimization within warehouse operations.
  • Mentors associate-level team members and contributes to knowledge sharing.
  • Travels up to 50% to support project activities, testing, and go-live events.
  • Adheres to all certified processes and information security standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • SAP EWM certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • Level I: 2+ years of SAP EWM experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and customizing SAP EWM functionalities.
  • Experience conducting functional testing and supporting QA activities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience working with the Department of Defense or other federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.

Compensation:

In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $85,816-$107,269 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
