ServiceNow Professional

We are seeking a ServiceNow professional to manage and improve our enterprise CMDB, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure inventory integration and cloud asset discovery. The role also supports ITSM product ownership, cybersecurity governance, and compliance activities.

Primary responsibilities include administering and maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB and related ITSM capabilities, improving CMDB ingestion, reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and overall health, integrating OCI inventory with the ServiceNow CMDB using Service Graph Connectors, APIs, and discovery patterns, configuring OCI credentials, service accounts, compartments, logical data centers, and discovery schedules, validating the discovery of OCI compute instances, virtual cloud networks, storage, databases, tags, and other cloud configuration items, implementing automated discovery across OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and on-premises environments, using Agent Client Collector and other discovery tools to identify and reconcile IT assets, establishing mandatory CMDB attributes, data standards, validation rules, and lifecycle controls, identifying shadow IT and ensuring discovered assets are properly cataloged, governed, and secured, producing CMDB health, data-quality, compliance, and asset-risk reports, and documenting CMDB data models, discovery processes, integrations, and remediation procedures.

Supporting responsibilities include developing Rally user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow improvements, participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, testing, deployments, and stakeholder reviews, supporting ITIL, NIST, cybersecurity, audit, and financial sector compliance requirements, and creating operational documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials.

Qualifications include 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or Discovery, hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Service Graph Connectors and cloud discovery, working knowledge of OCI tenancies, compartments, compute, networks, block and object storage, databases, tagging, credentials, and APIs, understanding CMDB modeling, reconciliation, data governance, and IT asset lifecycle management, familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and agent-based discovery is beneficial, experience with Rally, Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools, and strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
