PURPOSE:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong Sales Finance and Accounting experience to support the GODIVA brand. This role reports to the Finance Director, GODIVA, and requires close collaboration with the broader Sales Finance team. The analyst will partner with Sales to build robust customer level financial plans and forecasts, enhance operating procedures and maintain disciplined spend management. The position plays a key role in identifying risks and opportunities, supporting decision-making, and driving financial rigor across the commercial organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITEIS AND DELIVERABLES:
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop customer-level financial plans, forecasts, and performance reviews
  • Deliver timely, insightful sales finance reporting packages that elevate key trends and risks for Sales partners and leadership.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure accurate accounting for trade programs and deductions.
  • Evolve standard operating procedures for trade spend planning, tracking and post-event analysis.
  • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities across customers, channels, and SKUs, quantifying impacts and recommending mitigation or unlock plans.
  • Support annual planning and long-range forecasting with a focus on revenue, trade, and margin. Partner with sales to assess spend is aligned with strategic imperatives.
  • Lead trade spend analysis, ROI modeling, and scenario planning to guide pricing and promotional decisions
  • Champion tools, systems and best practices that elevate sales finance efficiency and effectiveness.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQURIED:
Essential Criteria
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in CPG or Food Industry
  • Direct experience in Sales Finance and Accounting; Demonstrated passion for and skills in finance automation/digitization tools.
  • Strong attention to detail. Ability to consolidate the findings from big data analyses into an efficient and effective narrative for business partners to support decision making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • "Build from scratch" mentality with the ability to institute new standardized processes and establish a consistent, disciplined approach to how we operate.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, D365, SAP

Desirable Criteria
  • Sales Finance experience and Accounting qualifications.
  • Demonstrated success in financial reporting, planning and ROI/ business case development.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Essential Criteria
B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
Desirable Criteria
Business Acumen, Strategic problem solving, Financial and analytical skill, Strong collaboration, and communication skills - able to translate complex finance analytics for a non-financial team.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
Base starting salary ranges from $95k - $114k/year. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role includes:
