Starting rate of pay:
$21.52/hour plus $1.50 shift diff.
Shifts Available and Hours:
2nd shift Monday - Friday (1:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
What you will be doing
- Operate various Conduit equipment i.e. Mills, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers and hand tools
- Operate material handling equipment as required
- Perform complex set-ups on equipment
- Read and interpret various gauging equipment, ranging from digital calipers, protractors and custom gauges
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Visually inspect work piece before and after machining for defects
- Perform set-ups on Saws, Bender, Conduit line, coupling machines, mills, de-burring equipment, etc. as needed.
- Keep machinery running optimally within department and work with team lead / supervisor / maintenance as required
- Optimize set-ups / improve set-ups to increase production while maintaining safety and quality
- Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required depending on job
What will make you successful?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience with machines, repairing machines, machine shop experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Prior knowledge of conduit machinery preferred
