Lead Controls Electrical Technician / Journeyman
Full-Time | $27-$33 per hour | Multiple Locations (In-Person)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Controls Electrical Technician or Journeyman to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair a variety of electrical control systems with a strong emphasis on safety and technical accuracy. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in reading electrical schematics, working with high-voltage systems, and using precision diagnostic tools. You will play a key role in ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other precision instruments to diagnose electrical issues.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Conduct tests and inspections on high-voltage systems to ensure safety and proper operation.
  • Design and install PLC-based control panels and write ladder logic programs.
  • Program and troubleshoot control systems and determine machine sequence of operations.
  • Install conduit, wiring, and associated components with a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities for compliance and future reference.
  • Follow all safety protocols and work effectively in hands-on manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Controls Electrical Technician, Journeyman, Instrument Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems and electrical maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency with voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other precision electrical tools.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
