Job description

Lead Field Electrician – Conduit (Traveling)

Nationwide Travel | 60–80+ Hours/Week | Data Center Projects

We are hiring experienced high voltage electricians with a strong background in running and bending EMT conduit for large-scale data center projects across the U.S.

This is a production-driven role. You will be expected to run conduit all day, every day, and help set the pace for the crew.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running and bending ½” to 1” EMT conduit for power distribution systems
  • Installing conduit from power drops to control panels
  • Working alongside low voltage teams (cameras, cabling), but your role is strictly high voltage
  • Supporting fast-paced, large-scale Amazon data center builds
  • Maintaining production speed and quality on-site

What We’re Looking For (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

  • 5+ years of conduit experience (EMT REQUIRED)
  • Proven ability to run and bend conduit all day (10–14 hours)
  • Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (NOT residential)
  • Comfortable working high voltage systems
  • Willing to travel nationwide for extended periods

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with PLC controls or control panels
  • Previous data center or large-scale industrial project experience
  • Experience working in high-production environments

Work Schedule & Travel

  • 6 days per week
  • 10–14 hour shifts (day shift starting ~7AM)
  • Projects typically 3 weeks per site, then travel to next location
  • Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. (NJ ? Las Vegas and beyond)
  • No travel companions allowed

Compensation & Perks

  • Company-provided work vehicle + gas card
  • Hotel provided (private room)
  • $45/day per diem
  • Overtime after 40 hours
  • Paid travel time between job sites

Hiring Process

  • Resume review (must clearly show conduit experience)
  • Virtual interview (camera on required)
  • Fast hiring decisions for qualified candidates

Requirements

  • Must pass:
    • Amazon background check (7 years)
    • Drug screening
    • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Must be able to travel to Lowell, Arkansas for onboarding

Important

This is NOT a low-voltage role. If your experience is primarily:

  • Data cabling
  • Cameras/security
  • Residential electrical

? You will not be considered.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

  • Electricians who take pride in clean, fast conduit work
  • Road warriors who prefer steady travel and long hours
  • Professionals who can keep up with production demands on large jobs
