Position: Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and overall appearance of community properties. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, this role focuses on preventative care, timely repairs, and creating a well-maintained environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on community property and equipment.
  • Manage and complete work orders through the work order system.
  • Conduct general maintenance, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping.
  • Carry out regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and buildings.
  • Identify and report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Apply knowledge in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing, and Painting required.
  • Experience with Cleaning, Locks, and Gutters is highly desired.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be a proficient problem-solver.
  • Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment, or the public in general.
  • Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance are a plus, but not necessary.
  • Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.
