Job description

Concrete Placement is looking for an experienced Concrete Estimator / Project Manager who understands the full lifecycle of commercial concrete work—from takeoffs to closeout.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can step in and make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for commercial concrete projects
  • Manage bids from initial review through submission
  • Work directly with suppliers and subcontractors to build accurate pricing
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth project handoff
  • Assist in project management as needed (scheduling, cost tracking, change orders)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of concrete estimating experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Footings, foundations, flatwork, structural concrete
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specs
  • Experience with takeoff/estimating software
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in both estimating and project management
  • Existing relationships with local GCs or suppliers
  • Ability to manage multiple bids at once without missing deadlines
