Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Concrete Flatwork in Kaukauna, WI. This role involves performing skilled concrete flatwork for construction projects in the Kaukauna, WI area. The ideal candidate is a proficient tradesperson experienced in pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces to meet precise project specifications and quality standards.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30 to $45 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Set and align forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth.
  • Spread concrete into forms using shovels or rakes and ensure even distribution.
  • Level and smooth concrete surfaces using screeds, bull floats, and hand trowels.
  • Apply specific finishes to concrete such as broom, float, or trowel finishes based on project requirements.
  • Install reinforcement materials including rebar, wire mesh, or fiber reinforcement.
  • Monitor the curing process and apply curing compounds or sealants as necessary.
  • Operate power trowels and other specialized machinery for large-scale finishing tasks.
  • Saw-cut control joints in finished concrete to manage cracking and ensure slab longevity.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the job site to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven professional experience in concrete flatwork and finishing.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools specific to the concrete trade.
