Concrete Laborer / Concrete Finisher – Heavy Civil Construction

Location: Greater Houston Area, TX
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Employment Type: Possible long-term opportunity

Schedule: Start and end times to be determined

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Concrete Laborer / Concrete Finisher to support heavy civil and highway construction projects throughout the Greater Houston area. This position will assist with drilled shaft work, pile driving, and foundation construction for heavy highway projects.

This is an outdoor, physically demanding role with the potential for long-term employment for a dependable worker who performs well on the job.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and general concrete labor.
  • Support drilled shaft and pile-driving operations.
  • Assist with foundation construction for heavy highway and civil projects.
  • Prepare work areas, materials, tools, and equipment for concrete operations.
  • Perform general construction labor, cleanup, and site organization.
  • Follow instructions from foremen and project supervisors.
  • Follow all jobsite safety procedures and requirements.
  • Work efficiently outdoors in demanding weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Previous concrete, construction, or heavy civil labor experience preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the Greater Houston area.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in very hot conditions.
  • Must be physically capable of performing construction labor throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to understand and speak some English for jobsite communication and safety.
  • Must be dependable and able to report to work on time.
  • Must be available for occasional travel based on project needs.
