Job description

Rare concierge nursing opportunity. We are currently in search of an RN or LPN for 2 to 3 12-hour night shifts to care for an adult male patient in the Wayland, MA area.

Job Description/Position Highlights

  • Performs routine clinical nursing duties, including vital signs, head-to-toe assessment, administration of medications, and other nursing procedures under the verbal or written order of a provider as prescribed by law, written clinical policies, and within the limits of his/her own license and training.
  • Interacts with Clients and family members in a manner that adheres to the highest standards of care and professionalism.
  • Builds trust and fosters smooth relationships with participants and their families.
  • Promotes patient confidentiality and right to privacy.
  • Communicates patient information with assigned staff and between shifts
  • Manage patient care by performing nursing assessments and collaborating with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care
  • Nurse to patient ratio: 1:1 to provide excellent quality care
  • The aide will assist the night shift LPN or RN get patient to bed
  • Work as part of a small team of other highly skilled professionals who provide around-the-clock nursing care to patients
  • In-home nursing stations provided to nurses
  • Work in a non-traditional setting. Beautiful home settings with all necessary equipment, and some to fulfill job requirements to the best of one’s ability.

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN or RN license in MA
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently but also in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Skillful and organized
  • Proficient use of the English language
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Reliability and dependability are a must

Availability to pick up extra shifts as needed is a plus. 7 A-7 P or 7P- 7A
