Centre Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist, preferably with a background as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our innovative telehealth team. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and thorough risk assessments to understand clients' needs deeply.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in a variety of formats – individual, couple, family, and group settings.
• Provide crucial crisis intervention services and work in concert with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for clients experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge and tools to manage their mental health effectively.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Conduct regular outcome assessments to measure the effectiveness of treatments and make necessary adjustments to improve client outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in mental health, incorporating new methodologies into practice to enhance client care.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and maintain the confidentiality of all client information at all times, reinforcing trust in the therapeutic relationship.

As a mental health therapist at Centre, you will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing a range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting issues. • A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Proven ability to work independently while also excelling within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, providing individual and group therapy.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices is highly desirable, reflecting adaptability in an evolving healthcare landscape.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and culturally sensitive practices.

• At Centre Mental and Counseling Services, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 84,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
