Reports to: Concert Operations Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Part-Time, Hourly: Up to 20 hours per week


Summary

The Box Office Coordinator will be primarily responsible for coordinating all Box Office Operations for SFCM, including assisting patrons with reserving tickets, maintaining the accuracy of the Performance Calendar, and creating all printed programs for SFCM performances. This position reports to the Concert Operations Manager and will assist in internal Event Bookings and the scheduling of student recitals.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact by answering phone calls and emails from SFCM patrons and the general public
  • Coordinate the receipt of incoming mail and notify appropriate parties for pickup
  • Assist patrons in reserving their tickets through the SFCM Performance Calendar and SFCM’s ticketing system, Spektrix
  • Sell merchandise using Square Point-of-Sale system
  • Maintain and post weekly and daily room cards
  • Coordinate the procurement of program information from department chairs, graduate assistants, and students
  • Ensure program information is communicated to the relevant departments
  • Create performance programs according to standard guidelines using Adobe InDesign
  • Print, fold, & staple physical programs for all concerts at SFCM
  • Other duties as assigned
