As a Physical Therapist, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. The responsibilities of the Physical Therapist include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and analyzing patients’ medical histories to understand their treatment needs.
• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and symptoms, documenting findings accurately.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Implementing therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring proper biomechanics and patient safety while educating patients on self-management strategies.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as stimulation and massage to enhance tissue healing and functional recovery.
• Guiding patients in the use of rehabilitation equipment, adapting aids such as wheelchairs and walkers to their specific needs.
• Maintaining detailed patient records, tracking progress towards set rehabilitation goals, and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Advising patients and family members on home exercise programs and ongoing care strategies.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and facilitate comprehensive patient evaluations.

The successful candidate for this position will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license to practice.
• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic therapy, with a proven track record in effectively treating a widening range of health conditions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse patient demographic and their families.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with word processing and healthcare record management systems to facilitate seamless documentation.

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced certifications in specialized areas of therapy, such as certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) or sports therapy, will be given special consideration. Experience in a rehabilitation center setting and familiarity with contemporary therapeutic methods will enhance your candidacy.

Break Through Rehab, LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, adjustable based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a salary, we provide an attractive benefits package that includes:
