Job description

Job Title: Associate Product Manager II, Arm-based Computing Platform
Location(s): Tustin, CA - Onsite
Compensation: $75,000-$85,000
About this position:
Advantech is seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to own the product strategy, development, and go-to-market execution of its Arm Computing Platform portfolio. This role is pivotal in aligning internal capabilities with ecosystem partners (Qualcomm, NXP, and MediaTek) to drive innovation, growth, and customer success.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the product roadmap and development lifecycle of Arm computing platform portfolio from concept to launch, driving product strategy, execution, and successful time-to-market.
  • Gather and analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify new product opportunities and influence product strategy.
  • Manage product phase-in and phase-out processes, including announcements, documentation updates, and database maintenance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including application engineers, supply chain, procurement, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure timely project development.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including colleagues in Taiwan and China, regarding product development and project activities. Occasional meetings outside standard business hours may be required to accommodate international time zones.
  • Drive go-to-market initiatives by collaborating with marketing, sales, and ecosystem partners to develop joint solutions, product messaging, and launch plans.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the industrial PC industry or related fields.
  • Understanding of ARM computing architecture, embedded computing platforms, and industry technology trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with the capability to drive execution across departments.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of computer hardware, particularly Arm- or RISC-based computing platforms, with basic knowledge of Linux.
  • Ability to analyze data, track partnership performance, and report on key metrics and KPIs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Oracle PLM, SAP, Salesforce.com or other CRM platform is a plus.
