Job description

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Review and process invoices and related cover sheets from various departments and input all data in accounting system (SAP S/4 HANA)
  • Preparing operational expenditure payment batch
  • Reviewing and verifying expense reports for various departments to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies
  • Reconciling operational expense accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
  • Managing prepaid expense, accrued expense, prepayment or deposit and accrued account schedule
  • Managing and tracking corporate fixed asset with depreciation schedule
  • Managing, monitoring and reconciling operational support inventory
  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements related to operation expenses, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Analyze spending trends and variances to identify areas for cost reduction or improvement
  • Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business-related field (Finance, Economics, or
    Statistics preferred). Equivalent experience and a strong knowledge of accounting
    principles may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 1–3 years of experience in an applicable field is required. H Mart provides an extensive
    training program, and candidates with equivalent office experience will be considered
  • General understanding of accounting processes and functions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team
    environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems is a plus (SAP R/3 or S/4HANA
    Cloud preferred)
  • Must speak, read, and write Korean; basic English comprehension required
