Job description

Garver is seeking a CAD Technician to join our established Federal Services Team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of duties for civil/site projects including: initial project CAD setup, site layouts, utility layouts, rough grading, detailing, record drawing development, and coordination with multi-discipline teams.IN addition, the CAD Technician will be trained to conduct BUILDER SMS inventories and assessment to help our defense clients remain mission ready. The CAD Technician must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.
Requirements
  • 0-3 years of drafting experience working in site development
  • Associates or 2-year technical degree
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Prepared to learn BUILDER SMS
  • Willingness to travel overnight
