CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our dynamic and collaborative land development team in Tampa!
The CAD Technician is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans. These drawings support the engineering of land development projects in all facets of the design process, including preparation of presentations, concept development, constructions documents, and construction administration. 

Duties Include
  • Create detailed drawings based on require specifications, requirements and plans using Civil 3D.
  • Collaboration and coordination of design with project team including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Prepare layouts, diagrams, sketches, and drawings for various projects.
  • Review and modify existing drawings or models as requested by project managers.
  •  Interpretation of relevant codes and client requirements.
  • Implementation & utilization of established CAD standards and templates.
  • Assist in coordinating project documentation ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Periodic travel to perform site investigations, measurements, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation of subsequent reports and exhibits.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and related project documents. 

Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience using Civil 3D 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is a plus
EDUCATION
  • Associates Degree or Computer-Aided Design Certificate
