As a result, a full-time position is available for a Structural CAD/BIM Technician in our Sacramento (CA) or Lexington (SC) office locations.
Responsibilities include:
  • Produce structural BIM models and structural construction drawings for any size project, coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house team members and sub-consultants.

The successful candidate must have the following:
  • Associate degree (or higher) in engineering or related field from an accredited institution and at least 2 years of relevant experience; OR if no degree, must have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
  • Drawing structural systems for building projects using Revit software.
  • Setting up engineering drawing sets in Revit software.
  • Applying design standards to engineering drawings.
  • Drawing, laying out, sizing, coordinating and detailing structural systems.
  • Attending project team meetings.
  • Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors.
  • Coordinating with the design team.
