• Conduct initial assessments of clients’ mental health by utilizing evidence-based tools and techniques to evaluate their diagnoses and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement comprehensive therapy strategies tailored to the individual needs of clients, focusing on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use.
• Facilitate regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive approaches to enhance client engagement and effectiveness.
• Foster positive therapeutic relationships, maintaining ongoing communication with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to ensure holistic support for clients.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate EHR records to observe treatment progress and comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and continued education to stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in the field of mental health.

The clients you will support come from various backgrounds and ages, each presenting a unique set of mental health challenges. Whether assisting individuals with acute mental health conditions or providing ongoing support for chronic issues, you will address a wide range of presentations including mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, and family dynamics. Our aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their mental health in a non-judgmental space.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid counseling license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Proficiency in employing evidence-based treatment methodologies and a deep understanding of sociocultural factors impacting mental health.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective relationship-building with clients and coworkers.
• Proficient in using EHR systems and applicable computer applications for documenting patient care.
• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Experience providing therapy in a virtual or remote capacity.
• Substantial background working with diverse populations and understanding the nuances of cultural competence.
• Prior experience developing group therapy programs or workshops focused on relevant mental health topics.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Along with a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
