Account Executive

Job Summary: As the Account Executive, you will be the dedicated first point of contact for clients and will collaborate with various departments internally to proactively ensure client satisfaction with OccuNet's services. This will involve assisting our clients to understand the services we provide as well as working alongside them to explore and consult on opportunities to improve discounts, member experience and overall results with our products.
The Account Executive partners closely with clients to proactively ensure client satisfaction with OccuNet's services by helping them interpret reporting, identify opportunities to improve discounts, exposure, enhance member experience, and drive overall program performance.

A Day in the Life:
  • Attend and facilitate meetings with clients and partners to address ongoing needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve escalated operational, provider, and member issues.
  • Collaborate with the Account Coordinator to ensure timely client follow-ups.
  • Analyze client reporting and trends related to claims processing, negotiations, and balance billing to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate client expectations, feedback and workflow updates to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with client needs are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and internal teams to address inquiries and proactively identify process improvements.
  • Communicate client needs effectively across departments to drive better outcomes.
  • Collect, analyze, and present client data to highlight key performance trends and insights during client renewals and business reviews.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and organizational information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Will have an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communications skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Multi-year experience in reference-based pricing, self-funded plans and fully insured plans is required.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships (employer groups, brokers, TPA and insurance carriers).
  • Proactive problem solving.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Organized thinking with the ability to consolidate and communicate relevant information.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with excellent judgment.
  • Ability to delegate projects/research when necessary.
  • Proactive identification of opportunities to improve client and member experiences.
  • Demonstrates proficient computer skills. (i.e. Microsoft Office).
