Active Path Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and emotional well-being through virtual meetings to establish individualized therapy plans.
  • Craft evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders.
  • Deliver consistent, scheduled therapy sessions utilizing various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, to drive client progress.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes comprehensively.
  • Foster supportive relationships with clients, equipping them with coping mechanisms and tools essential for their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, interpersonal conflicts, trauma, and life transitions. We aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for all patients, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, or economic background, emphasizing cultural competence in our therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding mental health disorders and implementing evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proficient in crisis intervention skills and maintaining composure during critical situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine ability to establish rapport with clients from all walks of life.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions using inclusive practices.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health trends and best practices.
Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise, the salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
