Key Responsibilities

• Engage in individual counseling sessions with clients through video calls, employing therapeutic techniques to promote mental wellness.
• Encourage clients to openly discuss their thoughts and feelings, thereby assisting them in developing better self-awareness and healthier relationships.
• Advocate for clients by helping them identify personal objectives, empowering them to take actionable steps toward achieving these goals.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status, creating and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs and concerns.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and solution-focused approaches in therapy to achieve effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our network, ensuring integrated care for shared clients.
• Maintain accurate client records while adhering to privacy standards and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with through our platform are pre-screened and classified as stable with low acuity levels, ensuring a manageable caseload and a focus on preventative care. By working with clients who are motivated and ready for change, you will be able to foster therapeutic relationships that lead to meaningful progress without overwhelming stress.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• A valid independent license from the state board, specifically a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Note that provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Strong evaluative skills to make informed treatment decisions based on clinical assessments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role.
• Proficient computer skills are necessary for managing telehealth sessions and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a similar remote counseling role.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and electronic health records is advantageous.
• Background in diverse client settings would be beneficial given our emphasis on varied demographics.
