Description
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Intern to join our team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points
  • Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staf

Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Currently enrolled in an associates or bachelor's degree program in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D for production activities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, project coordination, maintain organizational structures, and interact with other design services
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth mode
  • Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking
  • Full use of Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with GIS processes and terminology
  • Prior experience with survey fieldwork
