Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is seeking a passionate QA Manual Tester looking to grow their career in software testing. This position is full-time and located at our Jacksonville, FL office.
ASI develops enterprise software used by physical asset managers to keep their equipment and fleets performing at their highest levels. Our customers include the Department of Defense, commercial fleet operators, and industrial facilities. We meet our customers' challenges by developing state-of-the-art solutions that bring together the fields of computer science, operations research, data science, and reliability engineering using the latest industry technologies.

We are looking for a sharp, skilled team member to help tackle the expanding growth of our product base. This position will include a balance of automating test scripts and some manual testing and provides the opportunity to expand automation and development experience. You will be working in small, but complete, teams that have ownership of applications and modules. The team member we're looking for must be self-motivated with initiative to succeed, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities :
  • Conduct manual testing in development and beta environments
  • Report, document, and track bugs in ticket system
  • Work with customers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues
  • Design, develop, and execute automated API and UI test methods under direction of senior testers

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from US accredited institution
  • Experience with:
    • Jira or other bug tracking system
    • Automation testing, manual or automated
    • Agile development
