Job description

Description
Hoover-Schrum Memorial School District 157 is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.
Gain hands-on experience in an IT position
Shadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionals
Opportunity to attend networking events and company meetings
 
Flexible schedule for students
 IT Intern Duties and Responsibilities
Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
Organize and maintain IT resources
Lend IT support in areas such as hardware, network, programming, analytics, and data center management.
Any other given responsibilities by the Technology Director.
Requirements 
Currently enrolled in a Post-secondary program as Sophomore, Junior or Senior in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems major or 6-12 Months of documented Previous IT Training and Certification(s).
Strong verbal and written communication.
Punctual, reliable, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong work ethic and attention to detail, ability to work well in a team environment.
