In this role, you will provide fast, efficient, and quality oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance services to our customers, ensuring their vehicles run smoothly and safely. For the right person this is the perfect opportunity to launch your career as a trained and certified Technician as Crestview Cadillac will train  to expand your knowledge from your experience as a Lube Technician into other areas of automotive repair.   

Responsibilities
  • Perform quick oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs efficiently and accurately
  • Inspect vehicles for other maintenance needs and communicate findings to service advisors
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly manner
  • Assist with other basic preventative maintenance services as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience in automotive oil changes or quick lube services preferred
  • Basic knowledge of automotive fluids and vehicle maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-point inspection
  • Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
  • Recommend services based on findings from a thorough inspection
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
  • Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
  • Inspect fluid levels
  • Check air pressure of tires; replace tires as needed
  • Complete pre-delivery inspection on new cars- replace oil and air filters

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year in service department
  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
