Computer Tomography CT Technologist

MLee Healthcare has been engaged by our top-rated client just outside of Dos Palos to recruit a qualified and motivated CT Technologist. Job Description:

  • Adheres to CT protocols for all examinations, ensuring proper patient identification and education about procedures, and screening for contrast allergies.
  • Efficiently completes all exams, maintaining workflow and minimizing downtime. Ensures thorough follow-up with patients post-examination, including communication, transportation, and discharge.
  • Proficiently conducts a variety of imaging procedures and operates equipment safely and effectively, including scanners, injectors, and monitors. Demonstrates competency in performing scans on patients of all ages, adjusting protocols as needed.
  • Prioritizes patient safety by screening individuals of childbearing age, minimizing radiation exposure, and adhering to infection control standards, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Conducts quality assurance on CT scanners and participates in the proper handling and transport of pharmaceutical waste, following all necessary training and safety protocols.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred:
