In & Out Urgent Care is growing, and we want you to come grow with us. We opened our first Urgent Care in 2015 in Uptown New Orleans and have since opened three additional locations. We have locations in Metairie, Mandeville, and Covington. Our mission is to create a place where the genuine care and comfort of our patients and their families is our highest priority. We have an outstanding, dedicated team that you can trust to make this all possible. We are seeking to hire motivated and goal orientated individuals as we continue our growth of opening additional locations to serve the community.

We have positions available for PRN RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST. You must be able to work at least 5 shifts a month; 12 Hr Shifts Weekdays and 8 Hr Shifts Weekends and willing to work at our other urgent care locations when needed.

PRN Rate $26/Hr
Our RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST, work under the direction of a Provider and Clinical Director, assisting in the delivery of healthcare to our patients.
Our RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST are Multifunctional and perform a wide variety of duties with the main focus of giving our patients the best experience by performing their x-ray duties. Radiologic Techs would be expected to help check patients in at the front desk as needed and work the back office assisting the Provider with patients, triaging, giving injections, phlebotomy, etc and deliver great patient care to our patients
Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepares patient for x-ray, explain procedures to patient and/or family, prepares room, equipment, and materials as needed. Positions patient and obtains quality diagnostic images.
Develops, marks, and files x-ray images and reports. Burns images to disc when needed.
Practices ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) to limit exposure to patient and medical team. Adjusts equipment controls, determine proper kVp and mAs.
Observes patient and machine during procedure. Reports unusual occurrences and documents patient's condition.
Prepares charts for patient appointments as indicated by the type of visit and the reason for the appointment according to established practices and procedures. Documents patient's chart with procedures performed, entering information into the electronic medical record.
Cleans and disinfects x-ray room and equipment, maintains and orders DME supplies.
Performs routine x-ray exams. Performs x-ray quality assurance tests and maintains
x-ray quality assurance records.

Job Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Completion of accredited radiology technology program.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of specific and OSHA requirements regarding radiological procedures.
Six months xray experience and familiarity with routine medical procedures.
Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology.
Ability to escort or transport patient by wheelchair or stretcher when appropriate.
Ability to work 12 shifts during the week and 8 hour shifts on the weekend, including holiday hours as needed. Rotating weekends. Able to work at other locations when needed.
Great computer skills including familiarity with electronic medical records.
Types 60 words per minute with 96% accuracy.
Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

License and Certifications:
Current certification and/or state licensure in radiology technology in Louisiana required
Current BLS Certification required
