What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Computer Tech Assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Computer Tech Assistant, you need strong troubleshooting skills, basic knowledge of computer hardware and software, and often a relevant associate degree or technical certification such as CompTIA A+. Familiarity with operating systems, diagnostic tools, and ticketing systems is typically required. Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities help you effectively assist users and collaborate with team members.
