Job description

Must possess a TS/SCI clearance. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world challenges on a cross-functional, fast paced team.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
• Analyzes voice, video, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
• Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments.
• Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements.
• Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
• May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.
• May perform network administration duties.
• May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of directly related experience in network engineering.
• BA/BS in related field, additional experience may substitute for degree
• Must possess and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• This position is deemed a DoD IA Workforce, IAT Level II position and requires 8570/8140 compliance.
• A valid Cisco CCNA certification
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network analysis and design.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
• CCNP Preferred
• Juniper route/switch knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting type-1 encryptors.
• Knowledge and experience with CUCM and VOIP administration.
