In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.

Position Overview

We are seeking highly qualified Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) to support the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of training and educational programs. The selected candidates will apply instructional design principles, learning theories, and evaluation methodologies to create effective training solutions that meet organizational and mission requirements.

The Instructional Systems Designers will be responsible for conducting training analyses, developing instructional materials, evaluating training effectiveness, and supporting the full instructional systems development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs and instructional materials using established instructional systems design methodologies.
  • Conduct training needs assessments, job task analyses, and learning requirement studies.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to improve training effectiveness.
  • Develop instructor-led, blended, and technology-enabled learning solutions.
  • Create learning objectives, lesson plans, participant guides, instructor materials, assessments, and evaluation instruments.
  • Develop and administer written examinations, performance assessments, surveys, and other evaluation tools.
  • Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements based on evaluation data.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and program personnel to ensure training materials meet mission requirements.
  • Utilize educational technologies and learning management systems to support training delivery and management.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable government, agency, and organizational standards.
Minimum QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution that includes coursework in at least four (4) of the following five (5) areas:

  1. Learning Theory, Psychology of Learning, or Educational Psychology
    • Study of learning theories as they relate to the systematic design, development, and validation of instructional materials.
  2. Instructional Design Practices
    • Study of principles and techniques used in designing training programs, developing instructional design strategies and models, and improving instructional effectiveness.
  3. Educational Evaluation
    • Study of techniques for evaluating instructional and educational programs, including development of written tests, performance assessments, surveys, and evaluation instruments.
  4. Instructional Product Development
    • Study of methods used to develop training materials, identify learner characteristics, define objectives, apply instructional strategies, validate training products, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  5. Computers in Education and Training
    • Study of the application of computer technologies in education and training, including the selection and utilization of appropriate software and learning technologies.
Experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional systems design methodologies, training development, and educational evaluation techniques.
  • Experience conducting training studies, analyses, assessments, and instructional development projects.
  • Experience developing training materials, learning objectives, assessments, and evaluation instruments.
  • Proficiency with instructional technologies, learning management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Security Requirements
  • Must possess a current Tier 1 (T1) Background Investigation or be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (T1)/Basic Background Investigation (BBI).
  • Must be eligible to work on a U.S. Government contract.
Work Location
  • Position is 100% onsite at Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.
  • Telework or remote work is not authorized.
Medical and Immunization Requirements

In accordance with Air Force guidelines, contractors must provide proof of immunization or laboratory-confirmed immunity for the following:

  • Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test or Approved Blood Assay Screening
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap)
  • Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) screening
  • Mumps, Rubeola, and Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Hepatitis B (HBV)
  • Hepatitis A (HAV)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, or federal government training programs.
  • Knowledge of the ADDIE instructional design model and related training development frameworks.
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
