Solution IT Inc. is looking for Ellucian Banner Systems Analyst for one of its clients in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Ellucian Banner Systems Analyst

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ellucian Banner Systems Analyst to provide technical and functional support for the University's Banner ERP environment. This role partners with Finance, Human Resources, Student Services, Financial Aid, and Information Technology to optimize business processes, maintain system integrity, and deliver reliable enterprise technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the Ellucian Banner ERP system.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Banner modules, with emphasis on Finance and other administrative systems.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend system enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform system testing for Banner upgrades, patches, and new functionality.
  • Develop SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and data extracts for departmental reporting.
  • Support integrations between Banner and third-party applications.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues while maintaining data integrity.
  • Train faculty and staff on Banner functionality and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, FERPA, and applicable financial regulations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Ellucian Banner or a comparable ERP platform in higher education.
  • Strong knowledge of Banner Finance and ERP administration.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
