Job Overview

The IT Analyst I provides on-site technical support and contributes to business systems analysis in a regulated GMP/CDMO environment. This role supports end-user systems, hardware, software, and local IT operations while assisting with documentation, process improvement, and system support activities. This role is ideal for a service-oriented IT professional who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working directly with users, and supporting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.


Responsibilities
  • Provide desktop and end-user support for computers, peripherals, and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Monitor system performance and resolve performance concerns
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems
  • Support user account management including Active Directory
  • Coordinate vendors and service providers
  • Gather and document business and system requirements
  • Assist with process mapping and system documentation
  • Support system testing, validation, and implementation
  • Assist with IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications/Skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Self-starter who can work well independently or in groups.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.

Software Development Skills:           

  • Java/JavaScript/C#/.NET/Python
  • AWS/Azure
  • PowerBI
  • Knowledge of process mapping tools
  • Working knowledge of Project Management tools (JIRA, Asana, MS Project)
  • Experience designing and developing technical documentation for regulated software applications
  • Working knowledge of .NET, APIs and Webhooks
  • Knowledge of Web development methodologies like SCRUM, and Agile.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of ITIL and Safe frameworks. ITIL certified a plus.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree also considered. Experience providing IT support in a regulated GMP/GxP, pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or CDMO environment is strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant experience may be accepted.

Work is performed in office and manufacturing environments. Must be able to lift typical IT equipment. Minimal travel may be required.
