Position Overview
The Automation & Technical Support Technician will support machine operation, maintenance, system setup, and technical service activities across Greystone’s automation platforms. This role is ideal for a high-school graduate or entry-level college candidate (Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or related field) who is mechanically inclined, technically sharp, and quick to learn.
This is a dynamic, hands-on position requiring adaptability, travel flexibility, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Support setup, calibration, and maintenance of automated machines and robotics systems
· Assist in installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites
· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues
· Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
· Assist engineering team with system upgrades and modifications
· Document service activities and create clear technical reports
· Provide professional on-site customer support when required
· Maintain organized tools, spare parts, and work areas
· Support testing, diagnostics, and system validation processes
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma required
· Some college coursework in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, or related technical field preferred
· Basic understanding of mechanical systems
· Basic understanding of electrical wiring and components
· Basic software troubleshooting skills
· Strong problem-solving ability and fast learner
