• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' past trauma experiences and help identify optimal treatment pathways.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on foster resilience and facilitate trauma recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver direct patient care.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at helping patients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and progress on their healing journey.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and integrated care.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and support.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue continuing professional development in trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.

The primary client focus involves working with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, or adverse life experiences. Many of our patients struggle with conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and depression stemming from their traumatic backgrounds. The effectiveness of treatment hinges on building trust and rapport with our clients, allowing for honest communication and a conducive therapeutic environment.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a focus on trauma-related therapy.
• Thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exemplified by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations gracefully, ensuring a calming presence for patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and current computer applications relevant to telehealth.
• Capability to work dynamically within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, along with a strong foundation in resilience-building strategies, will provide a competitive edge for candidates. The annual salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive:
