Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network System Administrator to support a company focused on providing secure and reliable IT infrastructure services for mission-critical government operations. This position is on-site at Fort Rucker, AL. The Network System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing enterprise network and server environments while ensuring infrastructure availability and operational effectiveness. Join a team supporting critical defense missions where reliable network performance and security are essential to success. Responsibilities for the Network System Administrator include: * Administer and maintain enterprise network and server environments on a daily basis.
* Install, configure, monitor, and maintain system software, applications, and infrastructure components.
* Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement effective solutions to maintain operational availability.
* Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, hardware installations, and application deployments.
* Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, restore, and security plans to ensure infrastructure resilience.
Required Qualifications for the Network System Administrator include: * 4+ years of experience in network administration, network management, systems administration, or a related technical field.
* Experience supporting enterprise network and server infrastructure in secure operational environments.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
* Active Secret Clearance required.
