Job description

ARES is seeking computer system analyst and IT system engineer / architect candidates to support digital engineering and transformation of United States Space Force launch range assets and infrastructure. This individual will support the integration and digital transformation of complex information systems, including the development of operational requirements, modeling system architecture and configuration, analyzing alternatives, and performing functional and performance analyses.

Positions are available at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Multiple levels of the position are available.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience designing complex information systems and subsystems.
  • Experience with software development, information system architecture, data center architecture, and functional verification concepts.
  • Experience with systems engineering techniques including logical decomposition, dependency analysis, risk management, data modeling, and others.
  • Experience with digital engineering techniques and tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
