Overview
Job Purpose
The Business Analyst, Corporate Systems plays a critical role in developing, enhancing, and supporting key corporate systems, tools, and solutions. This role goes beyond maintenance of such systems, offering the opportunity to architect and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using modern technologies, including AI.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of key systems, including IMT Billing Systems, Talend, Boomi, and Snowflake. Ensuring these systems remain accurate, up-to-date, and reliable is essential to delivering high-quality data that supports strategic decision-making across the business. The position will report to the Manager of Corporate Systems.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical depth alongside analytical and communication skills. They apply hands-on experience with data integration, APIs, and enterprise systems to solve complex problems and drive informed decisions. They must also be effective at collaborating with and managing stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new integrations between systems and/or applications.
  • Investigate and resolve application functionality-related issues, including log analysis, error tracing, and root cause identification across middleware platforms.
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting of both business systems and middleware.
  • Analyze, debug, and resolve integration failures across middleware platforms, including log analysis, error tracing, and root cause identification.
  • Aid and advise business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.
  • Write technical specifications from business requirements and assist in the creation of system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
  • Perform integration testing and post-implementation testing of enterprise systems.
  • Design, execute, and validate API tests using tools such as Postman or equivalent, including reading and interpreting REST/SOAP responses, request headers, and response payloads.
  • Read, parse, and interpret JSON and XML data structures for integration troubleshooting, data validation, and specification development.
  • Write complex SQL queries and Snowflake-specific functions for data extraction, transformation, and validation - including CTEs, window functions, and query performance optimization.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of ETL processes, batch job scheduling, and event-based integration patterns to support data pipeline troubleshooting and enhancement.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers supporting applications including Salesforce, ServiceNow, ORMB, Oracle Cloud, and ICE products.
  • Analyze data and present clear, concise insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Create and maintain custom and ad hoc reports using available tools, including AI.
  • Demonstrate willingness to support and adopt additional enterprise applications as needed, including but not limited to Confluence, N8N, and OneTrust.

Knowledge and Experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, systems integration, or a related technical role with demonstrated technical depth in integration and data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience writing complex SQL and Snowflake queries.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling concepts, batch job scheduling, and event-based integration patterns.
  • Practical experience testing and validating APIs using tools such as Postman, Salesforce Workbench, or equivalent - including REST and SOAP endpoints.
  • Ability to read, parse, and interpret JSON and XML data formats for integration analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Applied knowledge of the application development life cycle; experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
  • Clear understanding of real-time, batch, and event-based integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation, data processing, or ETL support is an asset.
  • Experience handling high-severity (P1) customer-facing production issues, including triage, escalation, and resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and tools as the role evolves.
