Job description

Computer Aide-ELEM
Position Purpose
To provide computer services for students, teaching staff and building-level administration in a helpful, positive, congenial and flexible manner.
Essential Job Functions






  • Teach beginning computer classes.
  • Assists with ongoing software support.
  • Assists students and teachers in the use of computers.
  • Move computer carts and computers to and from classrooms.
  • Troubleshooting of workstations.
  • Instruct students following the Perry Township computer/technology curriculum.
  • Effectively demonstrates written and oral communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned by the principal.


Equipment
Use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, calculator, and telephone.
Travel Requirements
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate
$16.80 per hour.
Work Schedule
8 Hours a day
182 days per year
